Bed & BreakfastLipnice is situated in a renovated schoolbuilding, surrounded by forests, nearby the nice, small village Lipnice nad Sazavou. Lipnice nad Sazavou is well known because of the castle and the writer Jaroslav Hasek.
The region is known as the Vysocina region or the Czech Moravian Highlands.
We have four guestrooms, all rooms are nicely decorated with a "French touch". We like a relaxed atmosphere. You can relax in the garden, or enjoy activities in the surroundings. You can make nice walks in the forest, or you can go fishing in nearby ponds, you can swim, cycle or go horseback riding.
In the nearby villages you find restaurants, musea, castles, etc. In wintertime you can ski, on derby (small) hills or enjoy cross-country ski or ice-skating.
We serve a nice breakfast in "the living room", where you can also enjoy the fire place in fall and winter.
Praque and Brno, the main cities of the Czech Republic, can be visited within about an hour drive by car or you can take the train from a nearby village.
Vysocina is one of the greenest areas of the Czech Republic, without almost no heavy industries and a lot of forest-area, split by small rivers, it is an excellent area to enjoy a relaxed holiday, not spoilt by big tourist centra.
Because we offer rooms on a small scale, we try to keep an informal and relaxed place, to spend your holiday.
